Recorded in a span of 20 years, mostly on tape recorders, in Athens (Greece), Colchester (UK) and Trego, Montana (USA), this album is a fragment of a very prolific period, and it’s these few selected compositions, improvisations and couple of songs -along with my version of the C major scale- that felt right to share, with anyone who might be interested, at this stage of my life.
From the bottom of my heart, and with all the honesty that nature and upbringing have damned me with, I’d like to dedicate this album to those who stood firmly and unflinchingly by my side during my darkest hours; Maria Michalarou, Maria Zafiri, Vallia Filaditaki, Yannis Cambiotis, Stavros Parginos and my family; my parents, Costas and Stella, my aunt Marina, my uncle Christos and my cousin Niki.
And most of all; to my children, Danae and Theseas, who keep teaching me how to be brave and true, how to keep on fighting and what for.
